Ebola virus has disrupted the social and economic fabric of Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone and, it is spreading. An estimated 1.4 million people are predicted to catch the disease by January 2015. This could be a disaster of unprecedented outcomes. The Ebola emotional impact now and into the future is incalculable. Without proper and adequate post-Ebola planning and implementation, the prospect for instability looms high in post-war countries like Liberia and Sierra Leone.
“If your country is not affected another is affected” says AYM Nigeria Social Media Volunteer, Gloria Bulus. “There’s a guarantee that your country will not be affected if we all join hands as one to fight Ebola outbreak”, the Volunteer maintains.
But what if, with everything you have done, your country, like Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone become another epicenter? Hopefully, you will not have to go through this experience. For this reason, there’s a need for us to be a part of the AYM #postebolastrategy. Ebola can be made history with our involvement.
We invite you to be part of the inaugural #postEbolastrategy Webinar scheduled for Wednesday, October 22, 2014 1 P.M. EST where we will discuss going beyond Ebola.
