On Wednesday, the 30th of May 2018, the Ministry of Youth Affairs and the National Youth Commission in collaboration with development partners and Youth-serving agencies will organize a Consultative Meeting with the sole aim of enabling a strategic discussion among all stakeholders on the Policy Direction for Youth Development under the New Direction. The meeting will take place at Kona Lodge, King Street, in the Western Area of Freetown.
This consultative Meeting seeks to gather new ideas for a strategic direction and to generate consensus on priority actions. The Consultative meeting, will also assess previous and ongoing strategies and interventions as well as propose a new approach and plan that will address, in a holistic manner, the issues of Youth Unemployment and Youth Empowerment.
Please note that the Kona Lodge venue has been offered to us free of cost by Chief Ernest Ndomahina, as part of his contribution to Youth Development.
